Pronounced Alt-j, these are the two keys that create a delta (∆) symbol (at least on a mac). The UK bands song “Fitzpleasure” popped up in my chat window a couple weeks back, sent from an equally musically enthused work colleague. The band met while studying at Leeds University in 2007 and has now begun to emerge from its small cult following developed primarily in the UK. Alt-J is pretty excellent in my opinion, a definite flavor of unique that isn’t that easy to find these days. Check out the three tracks served up via SoundCloud (below).
